Shows

  • Daria- MTV once again angered me by taking this show off the air...This show is about the main character, Daria (above) trying to cope with her dysfunctional family, and make it through high school with as little social contact as possible. She is sidekicked by her best friend Jane, an artist who is just as strange and synical as Daria herself.

Airs: 9:30&10 pm est every day

E Time: 30 min each epi

Channel: Noggin (The N) (Time Warner Cable/Bright House)

  • Family Guy- Once a product of FOX, this show is one of the funniest cartoons Ive seen in a long time...FOX cancelled it after it became too much for primetime viewers, now it airs as part of Cartoon Networks' [adult swim], a compilation of cartoons unsuitable for kids, The characters are off the wall and just plain funny. Peter, (fat guy in back) gets himself, Brian the Dog and most times, the whole family in trouble with his antics but always pulls out in some bizarre way in the end...lol

Airs: 11:30 pm est on weekdays

    E Time: 30 min

    Channel: Cartoon Network (adult swim)

  • Futurama- Created by the already successful Matt Groening (head in jar), this show is just as good as the his best work to date, the Simpsons. This show also premiered on FOX, but was moved to [adult swim] because of low ratings. This show is about Fry, the main character, being chryogenically frozen in the year 2000 and woken up in the year 3000. He gets a job with his great-great-great-great-great-grand son, Professor Farnsworth, at Planet Express, as a delivery boy. He is sidekicked by the beautiful mutant alien, Leela and the sarcastic alcoholic robot, Bender...I love this show, watch it!

Airs: 11:00 pm est on weekdays

  • Lupin The 3rd- One of the most entertaining Anime' cartoons I watch...Its about Lupin, a thief and a master of disguise, and his band of theives and accomplices, DAISUKE JIGEN , a sharp-shooter(blue), GOEMON ISHIKAWA, a ninja (purple) and of course, FUJIKO MINE , who is as clever as she is beautiful. They spend their time trying to get as rich as possible and avoiding the bumbling detective, INSPECTOR ZENIGATA, who always comes close, but never manages to catch them.

Airs: 1:30 am est on weekdays

    E Time: 30 min

  • InuYasha- Inuyasha is a half-dog, half-demon boy from ancient Japan. His entire goal is to become a full demon, but is stopped short when he meets a beautiful girl named Kikyo, a warrior-priestess who enchants him and pins him to tree forever. She dies of battle wounds and Inuyasha is asleep for 50 years. In modern times, a girl named Kagome, Kikyo's reincarnation falls down a well that turns out to be a time-portal. She winds up in Inuyasha's forest and wakes him up. After he tries to kill her and they fight over petty things for a while, Inuyasha's evil brother shows up and tries to kill him. Of coarse Inu wins, but to his surprise, Kagome cares for him and they fall in love. Mainly the series in about how Kagome, Inuyasha, and various others who join them search for the pieces of the Shikon jewel.

  • Clone High- A new year starts at Clone High and once again Abe is lusting after the beautiful and popular Cleopatra. Little does he know that one of his 2 best friends, Joan, gothic and antisocial, has been in love with him for sevral years. His other best friend, Gandhi, a wild slacker party animal, is just trying to fit in with everyone but fails to do so. JFK, Cleo's current boyfriend, a popular macho womanizing stud, continues to cheat on her with various girls around school. This show is great, with a line up like Joan of Arc, Cleopatra, Gandhi, Abe Linclon and JFK, how could it not be? And with the added setting of a high school makes it even better. If that wasnt enough to satisfy a viewer, what about the added complication of an evil principal trying to kidnap the clones from the shadowy government figures who authorized the experement, and his eccentric robotic butler/ vice principal/ de-humidifyer, Mr. Butlertron...enjoy!
